Kim Brown, Principal
A lifelong Albertan, Kim grew up on a farm near Edmonton and has lived in the north for 20 years. She first came to FVSD as a practicum student with the University of Alberta, beginning her teaching career in Rainbow Lake. Kim taught at RLKS and FMCS and was Assistant Principal at FMCS just prior to moving into the Principal role at UHRS.
Kim has two words when asked what her favorite thing about the region is: “The people!”. She loves the people in the north and the great outdoors – two factors in her decision to stay.
“[Looking forward to] once again connecting with students and families and watching them grow.”
